Ghana Government refused to evacuate health students in Wuhan
Image: Kessbenfm.com Ghana- The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has advised Ghanaian students living in Wuhan, China to stay in the epicenter of the coronavirus, saying that after careful consideration, their evacuation is not an option at this time. GHS explained that current conditions in the city do not warrant an evacuation. The minority parliamentary group also gave the government three days on Tuesday to evacuate students or deal with the anger of its members. The spokesman for the parliamentary group for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, in a press statement, accused the government of being insensitive to the plight of the students, while their counterparts were evacuated by their respective countries.
