SDA SCHOOL OF NURSING ALUMNI DONATES TO ALMA MATA.

The 2003 (Set 7) Alumni of Seventh Day Adventist School of Nursing, Ile Ife, stormed the school premises on 25th August, 2017, with joy, happines, and love for re-union of the set. The old students were in glamorous and shining like diamond states. It was the first of its kind in the school. Mrs Adewoyin Oyenike (nee Akere ) anchored the event. She welcomed the guests, school management, academic and non academic staff and old friends to re-union and social responsibility events donating a signage to the school. She shared some old memories events in course of handling the event.

Professor B. L. Ajibade doubled as Guest of Honour and formerly the set coordinator at SDA School of Nursing, graced the event. He expressed his appreciation in the old students for giving back to the school. He admonished them to further their career academically and vigorously. He urged them to be professionally prudent, good ambassador of the school and belief sky is the beginning. After receiving the award of excellence, he narrated some odd events that happened to serve as lessons with bottom line of been good all time.

Mr. M. T. Also, the Director Nursing Education, SDA School of Nursing, graciously attended the event. He appreciated the old students for thier kind gesture. He expressed the school management appreciation and rekindle the collaboration between the school and alumni. He put smiles on everybody face while narrating some odd events that transpired during the studentship days.

Chief S. B. Popoola, The Director of Nursing Services, SDA Hospital, popularly called  "KINGS OF BOYS" also graced the event. He was delighted to witness the event. He remarked the dedication  and commitment of students in the clinical area. Hence, he advised them to be faithful, hardworking and be a good ambassador.

Oyeniran Toyin (nee Fadeyi) "the social director" in her swift remark appreciated her old friends for accepting the idea and agreed to participate fully in the reunion after thorough and series of discussions. She stated that it wasn't easy to bring people together, also noted that she's still looking for more contacts of others. She narrated how she initiated the group, calling, creating whatsapp group and bringing every member of the set to the group. She further stated that its a way of giving back to the Alma Mata. She appreciated the school management, academic staff, and non academic staff. Some members of the staff received gifts while the Guest of Honour, Professor B. L. Ajibade received Award of Honour.

The following members of the set attended the event: Oyeniran Toyin(nee Fadeyi); Atewologun Damilola(now Ogunbiyi); Komolafe C K(now Abraham); Oluwafemi Bobo, Bobola (nee Oni);Adewoyin Oyenike (nee Akerele); Olatunji Funmi(nee Bamidele); Daniyan Kemi(new Aworinde);Olusuyi Aderonke (Nee Ojo); Elijah Joan ;Awoniyi Grace (now Ajiboye), Adeyeye Bola(nee famakinde).
The school management appreciated the Alumni (Set7) for donating a signage to the school. The signage was unveil by Professor B. L. Ajibade.
