BAYELSA STATE NMC SHUTS DOWN ILLEGAL MATERNITY CENTRE

The Standards Ethic Committee under the leadership of Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee in Bayelsa closed down an illegal maternity centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The team was led by Mrs Cynthia Boufini, the Director of Nursing Services in Bayelsa State. No approval license to run the facility nor any Registered Nurse nor a Registered Midwife as well no Medical Doctor. Henceforth, the facility was sealed off.
