Immunity is the capacity of multicellular organisms to resist harmful microorganisms. The immune system protects your body from foreign invaders such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and toxins.
When your body is able to resist a foreign organism that may cause disease conditions most especially by preventing the development of a pathogenic microorganism, then, it means your body is well immunedThere are basically two types of immunity; Active Immunity and Passive Immunity. I know some of you will also ask a question why do we need to boost our immune system since it's naturally produced by our body. Yes, you are absolutely r correct. Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables 3. Regular exercise 4. Maintain a healthy weight 5. Have enough sleep 6. Infection prevention: by washing your hands regularly 7. Reduce your exposure to stress 8. Ensure you take all recommended vaccines If you follow all these recommendations you are strengthening your immunity. By so doing, you have a high percentage of not getting infected. If at all you finally got infected, you will be able to combat the virus
